HSE & Quality Policies

(I) HSE POLICY:
At Conserve, HSE is integral to how we conduct our business. We maintain a health and safety management system with the following objectives:
Compliance with all Federal and State statutory guidelines, regulations and laws.
Compliance with all clients HSE regulations.
Systematically observe and document best practises to facilitate continuous improvement.
Compliance with International Safety Management (ISM code) “The international standard that governs the prevention of human injury and loss of life and the avoidance of damage to the environment and to property.”
Routine and frequent audits of the Health and Safety Management System.

(II) QUALITY POLICY:
The provision of quality service is the single most important responsibility that we owe our clients. At Conserve, we always respond to the client’s needs with zero error quality service that do not only meet but often surpass the client’s expectations. We are absolutely fanatical about quality in all areas of our business and we go extra length to uphold this philosophy.
In other to achieve our quality system objectives, the company rigorously reviews, inspect and critique every process, product and service prior to deployment. We pay strict cognisance to the International Organisation for Standardisation ISO codes and endeavour to upgrade our compliance as applicable. The management takes ultimate responsibility for the adherence to the quality systems procedures, requirements, codes, and regulations by providing the employees with the required training, information and instruction. A quality assurance manager holds all accountability for the system and escalates to top management any issues, concerns, defects, or irregularities observed during the execution of all projects.

This policy outlines the company’s commitment to the implementation of its quality program and validates the claim to the highest quality of service that we are reputed for. It also serves as a reference, ensuring that the quality system is updated at all times.
Scope of Quality Assurance
The policy statement applies in totality to all projects, products and service rendered by Conserve Oil Nigeria Limited. We require all vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors and affiliates to strictly comply with our policy.

(III) LOCAL CONTENT POLICY:
Conserve is totally committed to Nigeria’s local content law that promotes the empowerment of local oil industry players towards achieving in-country value creation, growth and technology transfer to the benefit of the Nigerian economy. To this end, Conserve has embarked on a drive whereby as a corporate initiative, Conserve shall systematically transfer engineering know-how as well as technological capacity form its foreign partners and employees to the locales.

Conserve has developed a generic local content plan having the following highlights:

Utilization of qualified Nigerian resources during the design, implementation and support phase of any engineering project.
Facilitate technology transfer, knowledge and experience to Nigerians nationals through a transparent, structured and focused training and mentoring program.
Employ qualified Nigerians from the community where the project will be implemented as applicable. Train newly employed engineers in Nigeria by bringing the classroom to them. Position them to understudy the expatriate (if applicable) and experienced resources through on the job training (OJT) on any project. The long term objective for doing this is to build in-country implementation capabilities and after market services to meet NCD long term goals.
Utilize local materials and human resources to support project delivery.
